Bronze Plaques

East Coast Monumental Services supplies bronze plaques in many sizes and designs.

Bronze is an alloy of Copper, Zinc and Tin. The tin acts as a corrosion inhibitor keeping the zinc in solution and restricting the oxidation of the copper to the surface only. Brass on the other hand is similar but has no tin. Hence corrosion continues with pitting into the metal until the metal is eaten away completely.

How to Order

Below is a quote form for you to fill in. Once we receive the information we will make a proof for your approval and supply you with a quote. Our quote and proof service is free.
Once you have checked the proof and you would like to order the plaque you can email us and we will get the plaque made.
Plaques can take 4-6 weeks to be made, if you require it by a certain date please include that in the comments.

    Lettering
    Each plaque includes a set number of lines in the price, but extra lines can be included. You may like to either fill in the lines below or upload an attachment.
    If a line of lettering is too long to fit across the plaque it will be made into two or more lines.

    Bronze plaques are normally mounted on a wall, base or other structure. Many systems are available to ensure a practical, safe and permanent fixing is achieved. Let us know what the plaque will be attached to and we will select the best fixing system for your needs.
    Designs (images): Flat Relief and BAS Relief. Flat Relief: These designs are created in our design software. The
    surface is polished to the same height and appearance
    of the inscription letters.
    BAS Relief: These are created by a sculptor in a three dimensional
    shape. The irregular surface is highlighted in bronze on the plaque
    providing a design with depth and perspective.

    plaque for you approval.

Colours

While East Coast Monumental Services can provide plaques with any background colour, the colours below represents the most popular colours.
Caution: Some computers and printers may produce variations from the true colour.

Plaques Shapes

The standard plaques are square or rectangle, but other shapes are available. Please include in the comments if you would like a different shape.
We have moved to a new location in Bairnsdale, our new office is open by appointment only and we are also happy to come to you. We have done this so you can see as at a time the suits you as getting family members together on a work day is not easy.  You can arrange to see us after hour and weekend too.
